Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Chef Eddie Brown discovered his passion for cooking in his grandmother’s kitchen, where he spent countless afternoons learning how to blend love, patience, and fresh ingredients into unforgettable meals. It was there, amid the aroma of simmering collard greens and golden cornbread, that his lifelong love affair with soul food began. After graduating from Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High School, Chef Eddie pursued his culinary dreams at Le Cordon Bleu College, where he earned the prestigious distinction of Master Chef, the highest honor bestowed upon graduating students. His professional journey is a testament to dedication, skill, and versatility — holding leadership roles as Master Executive Lead Chef at P.F. Chang’s Sunrise Florida, Executive Lead Chef at Don Shula’s and Executive Lead Chef at Pei Wei Asian Diner Miami Lakes, Executive Chef at Loews Hotel Miami, Executive Lead Chef at The Cheesecake Factory Miami, Executive Lead Chef at Topgolf of Doral Florida, Lead Chef at Margaritaville, and Lead Chef at JW Steakhouse. With over two decades of experience leading top kitchens, Chef Eddie brings world-class technique and heartfelt tradition together at Chef Eddie B’s Soul Food Café. His mission is simple: to serve dishes that taste like home, honor his grandmother’s legacy, and feed both the body and the soul.
